Welcome to Fastigiata
Fastigiata is the name of a small upright tree natually found in the shady southern sides, valleys and Gorges of the Brindabella ranges in the ACT. and NSW.
Photography:
This site features a gallery of some of my favourite images that I have been fortunate enough to capture in my travels including the Brindabellas. Photography is a creative pursuit of great passion for me, I offer Freelance photography services affordably and contribute works to online repositories such as Unsplash. More information on photographic services can be found in the photography section of this site.
Systems:
Fastigiata Systems is a hobby enterprise offering affordable webpage design for artists, photographers or small businesses looking for a professional website, and training to be able to manage your site once up and running. I also offer custom hardware and open source system builds specific to your budget and your specific use case. I specialise in re-purposing unsupported and legacy hardware into fast, very secure and custom systems. For some it may be a custom image processing or creative asset management system, or a all in one cyber lab to a safe disability or age friendly device that just works without the clutter and bloat of windows and mac systems. You can find out more on the systems page of this site.
Murrumbidgee
The Murrumbidgee is the lifeblood of our region, many of the rivers and creeks of the Brindabellas and main range drain into the Murrumbidgee. Using a pack raft or kayak (occasionally a fishing rod) and a camera I have been lucky to see some of the more untouched parts of this river system, in particular the upper whitewater sections. I have collected some video of these trips on the Murrumbidgee page.

Acknowlegement
I would like to acknowledge the Ngunnawal people, the traditional custodians of the land on which I reside and take inspiration from their custodianship of this land. I extend my gratitude for sharing this with me and maintaining the clear streams, forests, swamps, monoliths and peaks. This land was never ceded and will always be theirs..
